Sorry it's tough going right now, please stick at it and stick around SR. Getting sober isn't a straight line, a setback doesn't mean you are destined to fail. I'm a townie so completely unqualified to comment on lambing in Cumbria but there are probably gazillion reasons why the farmer didn't call, bet none of them are to do with you. x

Update the farmer decided to employ someone else without telling me....only found out due to another farmer i know ringing me and telling me
Totally gutted but glad i know where i stand and can move forward now feel very depressed. And at a loss as what direction to move in but had a big mac and filled the void with that
Jeeze I'm down want a drink but know that wont help will just feed my already low mind...
At least i know now but why the hell didnt he let me know 11 days ago some bloomin people
