Quitting pot (and alcohol) for good
I like coffee, but truth being told, it doesn't help anyone to sleep better.
See, coffee has a half-life of 4 to 6 hours... which means after 10 hours you still have 1/4 of the caffeine in your system... and what caffeine does is prevent your body from having the benefits of deep sleep... what affects the health of the central nervous system of course... I'm explaining it in simple terms, but that's it in general... google it you'll see...

I had no idea, interesting though.
It's also true that a cup of tea contains about half the amount of caffeine that a cup of coffee has, so I guess I'm on the hot chocolate drink then.. Lol
Have a great evening pal. Catch up soon.

that looks like quite a place you live in there, Brazilian ! Looks crazy ! I couldn't live there, myself. I'm like krete, I need to have trees, etc. at least accessible or I think I'd go crazy ! On the topic of coffee, that's one thing I'm not going to give up. I have been reading about mixing L-Theanine in with my coffee today. " This is great for stress relief and good with caffeine for focus/attention without the jitters that I usually get from caffeine. Seems to aid sleep as well". Great for reducing anxiety - do a google search, if interested. I just ordered some today. Hope everyone is doing OK tonight !
I am pretty sensitive to coffee. I have crept up to two a day lately which is a lot for me. If I drink it in the afternoon I often have trouble sleeping that night. Sometimes I feel like a canary in a mine, the smallest amounts of substances effect me. I haven't quit it yet but I'm sure I'd feel better without it. It spikes my energy and then I crash.

Where's the guys today? Loving the Decaf by the way Brazilian, tastes the same so that's cheered me up this fine Sunday.
Sorry to hear you are having a bad day mate, I think with what we go through it happens more often than not. Tiredness and anxiety all play their part sadly.
Anyway I'm sure you will be a lot better tomorrow.
