Inspiring quote day 3....sort of
God I have been terrible at doing this on a daily basis. I'm sorry guys.
"Drinking would shut down my seeing and my hearing and my feeling...why would I want to be in the world if I couldn't touch the world with all my senses intact?" - Sherman Alexie
I find truth in this quote. When I was drinking my world was only shades of grey and darkness. A dreary place to be for sure. When I quit drinking my world suddenly exploded into a multitude of vibrant colors so bright I had to shade my eyes. What a beautiful world I inhabit now. I'd be a liar if I didn't see some tinges of grey every now and then, after all life is never perfect. The grey colors are necessary to better appreciate the brighter colors in life.

@Dee...Things are going well. Just going to meetings and working on my steps. I got my 30 day chip yesterday. I'm so proud of myself. I can't wait to get my next chip! How are things with you?
