This might be a tough weekend for some....

Super Bowl Sunday, the day is synonymous with parties, snack foods, commercials, and beer. Oh and of course football.

Anyone worried about getting through the weekend sober? Last year we attempted to host an alcohol free party. We invited 10 couples. Only 1 couple accepted our invite!!! So this year we are having a family day. Since we have 3 rescue dogs, we'll have our own "puppy bowl".

I love Puppy Bowl Leana.

I think we had a thread here last year about this topic. I know it's a huge drinking day for many. The commercials alone can be a trigger. (The one with the Clydesdale & Lab Puppy is so precious though - gone viral already.)

I have the snacks and plenty of iced tea, 7-Up, Dr. Pepper, and Coffee Shop Keurig K-Cups for beverages.

GO BRONCOS!!!!!

Have to admit, I'm a little anxious about it! However, I prepped the people I'm hanging out with and have found a fun non alcoholic drink to enjoy instead.....

GO SEAHAWKS!!

While this won't be a trigger for me, it does bring back memories.

I used to have a SB every year as it would fall on or near my birthday. I would make lot's of food and people would show up with their drink of choice (ALL alcohol of course!). The mayhem that would ensue I don't miss at all. Piles of dirty dishes, empty beer bottles, wine glasses to clean, stains on my carpet, broken dishes, cigarette butts outside and the smell of the house the next day!

YUCK!!!

Oh yeah.... while I wish my 9er's were there, I hate the Seahawks....

GO BRONCO'S!!
