Hi once again

Sorry for this. I signed up and posted yesterday (or was it today?) but in my state of being drunk I have lost the account info. Tried to get it back, but everything was a blur.

So here I am again. I started drinking yesterday evening. Drank all night. Stayed up all night drinking, and all of today. And I have some booze left to make it through this evening.

This is f-ed up. I need to quit. Tomorrow I will. I've been drinking for years and over time it got worse. And this is the point where I have to say: stop!

Drinking all night, all day and still drinking. This can't be good. Tomorrow will be a new day, without alcohol. And such will all the other days be.

What I drank would put any other person in the hospital, according to sources on the internet. My tolerance has gotten so high, which is a bad thing. It never should have happened.

So... hi again.

Maybe you need some help quitting. Have you thought of going to see a doctor?

I was to the point where I went to the hospital instead of drinking more.

Ditto on seeking medical attention. Detox in a hospital under medical supervision.

And write you account information down somewhere so you don't forget.

At least I saved my login stuff.

I will quit and see what happens. The doctor is a big hurdle for me, but rest assured, at the sign of trouble I will seek help. I expect to be sick for a few days, just like when I quit smoking. Now I detest cigarettes or any method of smoking.

Quitting smoking was easy, why shouldn't this be? I know the possible complications, I've read up about them. So if anything is not right, I'll dial 911 if I have to.

I second the opinion of getting medical help to detox. It might be helpful to have someone with you so they could call emergency if you couldn't.

I took your advice and a family member is on stand-by. Do you know those scenes in movies where some who is sick is closely monitored by someone close to them? They don't sleep. They don't even blink. I have someone who is that close to me to do that. And I'd return the favor. I'd wait on them 24/7, whatever it takes.

I want to be that person again, without the alcohol. I mean, I am that person, but in instances like that, I would not be able to function as an alcoholic.

And what if my sis needs a part of my liver? Or a kidney. I better make sure it's pristine. These things do happen.

I want people to get my organs and power up like Mario. Seriously though, you being sober or not can mean live or death for someone you truly love. That is a big part of why I'm quitting.
