You are choosing not to drink bc it does nothing good for you at all. This is something I am sort of going through...turning a negative perspective and flipping it positively. You might find more success staying sober this way.

There are plenty of negative things that I hate about alcohol and nothing positive.
I am not looking to moderate, I tried that and it failed miserably. I am not looking to change my life, where by I become an enlightened sage either.
My needs are simple. I just want to live a normal happy life with my family without drinking every night. I have accepted I cannot drink occasionally (my AV disagrees with me), but I have taken an oath never to drink again. I intend to keep it.
