first time in 8 years.....

That I've had a booze free Saturday night. Can't believe it. It's also day 1 for me. I've been here since March and just keep trying! Something must be starting to click. Saturday nights have always been booze nights - compulsory! I really hope I "get it" this time.

Constantly reading sr. It's a great place to be. Xx

Thanks guys. I feel if I can do a Saturday night then nothing is impossible! Looking forward to taking the dog out for a long walk tomorrow morning with my husband. I'm usually too hungover. I feel quite proud of myself.

Way to go!

One of the biggest reasons I got sober is so I'd take better care of my dogs. Now they get the best possible care; long walks and lots of attention.

Well done!! At 22 days sober, I understand about the Saturday night thing.

It was usually hammering time, jump in the wine Barrel, you get the groove. LOL! Sticking here is helping me also.

Thanks everyone. The support here is fantastic. Up early-ish on a Sunday morning. Hardly slept at all last night as so used to a drink fuelled stupor. But I have no hangover. Result!! Have a great Sunday everyone x
