It's finally caught up to me
I think we do a lot of damage to ourselves, mentally and physical;ly when we drink like we did.
It's normal to feel a little poorly for a while.
Don't hesitate to see a Dr if you're concerned tho - detox can be troublesome sometimes.

Each day does get better. I found that the body starts feeling better way before the mind does. Make a list of things that you can do to keep yourself busy should a craving come around. This is a great place to get suggestions and support as you continue with your journey....glad you are here and glad you are feeling better

I wanted to post something. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since new years. I am happy and I feel better but this is also my first day back to work after a break. I'm now sitting here telling myself it might be OK to go home and have a couple. I know why though. It's because I feel good and I feel invincible again like I can control it. Everything in me wants to pick up a bottle of Stoli and take it home to get to that "feel good" point. Anyone have these thoughts early on? Ever feel this way?
