One scrapped Christmas for all the others you will have sober, sounds like a deal to me.

Hey Seabee, I found the first few days rough too. I also had a lot of guilt and anxiety. But it genuinely does get better. With each day you stay sober and work on your recovery, it will get better. I'm sorry for your current situation but one great thing is that you're sober. Now that you're sober you can start moving forward and build a future for yourself.

I'm back at work this morning and the anxiety is intense. I was pretty good last night, but had trouble getting to sleep. I'll be glad when I can go home.

It wasn't too bad. I had a few high anxiety spells, but I got thru it.

Well, I was doing pretty good tonight, then the wife called and brought me waaaaaay down. So I am just going to try to go to sleep. Work tomorrow anyway.
