I've had it all my life too - I had a lot of ear infections - and resulting operations - when I was a child.

I rarely hear it now, I'm so used to it but I know sometimes it can be as simple as too much earwax Skye.

Sorry to hear about your ear problems Dee and thanks for replying.

I guess I'll find out Monday and whatever it is, I won't be drinking over it - not after reading about how booze causes hair loss! Shakes etc, I could deal with, but not losing another single hair off my head to the vile stuff.

I have it on and off and sometimes just leave the radio on really low.
