Trying but can't seem to quit
to SR from a fellow Buckeye! There are lots of us here who are sober without AA. Some used other programs, some see a counselor (like me), some just use SR. It's not the method you use, it's your willingness to do whatever it takes to stay sober.

Your higher power can be anything, Jade... Make the rooms of AA your higher power if need be.. Just realizing there is something bigger than yourself. I look it as this: these rooms have helped millions of people with their disease ... That's big..that's way bigger than me..
