It started last night and continued this morning. I an short with my wife and just frustrated. On edge is what my wife says. She wanted me to get a beer last night and i told her no. And she asking me what's wrong every 10 mins is not helping me cope. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh that's not good, can you try and explain its not helping ask her to bear with you , instead of getting cross, I know how hard it is esp when they just don't understand but hey, we do, keep talking to us x

Is she open to reading information about alcoholism? Sounds like she doesn't get the "just one glass" problem or that fact that it is a progressive disease. You may be less cranky for a few hours, but the repercussions are not worth it. Hang in there.

alcohol treats alcoholism. without it, I am angry, irritable, discontent and restless.

Can ya get to an AA meeting? Find a sponsor to work the steps?

Aw, geno, that sounds frustrating. I get in those funky angry spaces too. Sometimes I yell and cry and then take a hot shower and feel more sane. (I'm not suggesting that you yell at your wife--I live alone and just yell at the wall). Thinking of you!

i got a good 8 hours last night. She only like this when she its smoking pot and taking pain pills. now before we get a bad image of my wife let me explain. She needs to get all her teeth pulled and she its in so much pain.we can't afford what she needs to get done so basically she is self medicating for the pain just till we can get the operation. I love my wife every much but she gets weird on pills and pot. I'm trying to explain to her that I'm just detoxing but when you have to do that every 15 minutes because she thinks you're mad at her, it just gets hard so please don't think that my wife is this horrible person.. she just has a unique way of approaching things but we are still in day 2 and its 1107. went to the park this morning and after we get done shopping we are going to put the kids down for a nap. Im working out

A lot of dental schools here run clinics staffed by the students and supervised by the professors- I imagine it's the same in Nevada.

I use them - never had an issue, and never been ripped off either
