Hello everyone. I'm Rick and made the commitment to quit drinking today. I've been checking out this website over the past couple weeks and reading the book "One Breath at a Time: Buddhism and the Twelve Steps" by Kevin Griffin. Both have been very inspiring. I've been thinking seriously about quitting over the last month so today is the day. I know that it's going to be difficult but on the other hand I'm excited about the possibilities of life without booze. I'm so glad that I found this website and I'm sure that I'll find a lot of inspiration and friends. Have a great day!
