AA and getting help
Hi everyone, I went to another meeting tonight and got myself a sponsor.. She is the person that gave me my first book with numbers and really always talk to me and so very motherly ... I need that.
Today I am grateful for finding the support to keep me going and staying clean. When she said yes I started crying
. Happy and scared tears... But hey I am here clean and sober... Having that first drink is NOT an option.

Your story brought tears to my eyes. I was so overwhelmed and fearful at the beginning. My sponsor reminded me to take it aday at a time and that he was still working on understanding AA even though he's been sober for 36 years. You have taken a huge first. step in the wonderful road of recovery to a world better than you can imagine
