Day 4 Check In
Hello everyone,
Thank you for your support on my first posting. I am going to try and post as much a I can so I can hold myself accountable. Today is 4 days without drinking for me. I feel ok, still tired and headaches on and off. I still like waking up and not feeling hungover! I still sweat at night, but not a whole lot and I read some other posts where other people sweat more. Last night was a eyeopener for me. At about 8:30pm I realized I forgot to return the movies to redbox from the night before. If I was drinking, I would of been pretty buzzed by then and would have to wait until the next day and pay another days rental. But, i was sober and I turned them in on time.

Hey tiredcat, I'm on day 4 too. I can relate to all of what you are saying. There are so many positives to not drinking! And the night sweats - I actually like them. I like knowing that my body is releasing all the toxins I've poured into it, it feels cleansing.
All the best on your journey, I look forward to reading more of your posts

Good job on your Day 4 tiredcat (you too butterfly).
We promise it gets easier as you go along - you're doing a great thing by reclaiming your life. Be proud of yourself - and be patient too - you'll begin to heal and enjoy being free.
