It's a sunny day in Michigan

I ran out of work to do, FINALLY! Time for SR. I love this place. It's safe and calm. I'm with people like myself. I try so hard to stay sober. I will go into treatment the end of summer. Maybe that is the answer for me.
I hope everyone is safe and well. I need you all or I will never make it.
Thanks
Diana

It is actually sunny where I am today too! Must be a sign. Gramdma I went to daytox it was a 4 - 6 week program and I found it really helped. I could go there during the day and go home after.

We need you here too!

Welcome to SR! Glad you are here...

A 20 day Intensive Outpatient helped me tremendously... just getting out of my house, out of isolation, around others like me... and sharing honestly and openly was an invaluable experience

Hang in there...

Diana, are you committed to AA? Do you have a sponsor and home group where you are active?

I went to rehab in 1989 and that prepared me for AA. Who told you that rehab would "teach" you how to quit?

All the best.

There are actually many rehab programs that strongly suggest the use of AA or other recovery programs after the program has been completed. I hope you aren't suggesting that AA is the ONLY way one can learn to quit Bob. It is certaily ONE way that works for many people.

Welcome to SR Diana! Great to have you join us.

I drank all my life, but with the help of the people here I found the courage to change. I hope you'll continue to reach out for a sober life. You don't need that poison - and you can get free of it! We're glad you're here.
