Well update folks.
Tired normal drinking following weekend again.
Ended up in full week, not well camper today. No drinking from yday morning till I got tabs from doctor.
Step 1 again for me, acceptance.
Just thought I'd put this out incase anyone thinking about 'controlled' drinking.
Don't
Take care all

Seanie - just keep trying man. That's the key. Don't give up.
You figured out that controlled drinking is not possible for you. Now it's time to figure out how to live sober since a drinking life is not in the cards for you (or me!) if you want to live a happy, healthy way.
You are among peers here and we all relate to your plight - keep posting and being accountable and march forward with resolve and dignity. You are not alone!!!

How??????
I felt great for weeks. Got through the weekend and thanked God for feeling good, remembering the night before, not having to pretend I felt "just fine" when inside, I just wanted to go to bed and hide. I spent all day Saturday planning to drink Sunday, and get drunk. Today, I am bruised, embarrassed and my partner is unhappy with me. I did get dunk. AWFUL idea. How do i get past the craving?
