Day 2 and WOW that's a craving.

I feel a little more human today after sleeping like the dead last night. Drinking lots of water, sleeping, water, repeat. We can do this, my poor battered body. I am really sorry.

I have been surprisingly productive this morning, and just spent the last three hours frantically finishing up a chapter to send to my editor for a book project I am working on. This chapter is VERY late. And the moment I hit "send" my entire being informed me with tremendous urgency that it is time to get my drink on. Just amazing. I replied to my body and brain that no, in fact, it is time to get lunch, and my AV needs to shut it.

So crazy, feeling that wave of craving immediately after hitting send. "Congratulations sending off that mediocre, poorly edited chapter two months late! Hey, you know what you should do now? Prevent yourself from having to feel any of the anxiety of judgment or rejection associated with that!"

Yeah, no thanks. I'll take the possible rejection, because I'd like to move forward with this project and on with my life. I am going to go make myself an epic sandwich.

I'm glad you were able to shut your AV down. Eating something and getting a good sleep really help me when I get all wonky.

The after stress drink was one of my things too.
Way to go on recognizing that and shutting it down Gwenny

I just got off the phone with my editor, who is totally thrilled and happy with the chapter (what???!) aaaaaaaand the craving happened again, with a vengeance. "Woohoo! What a relief! Let's have a drink!" It's even stronger this time. Wow. SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE, AV. Anxiety and relief: apparently HUGE triggers for me.

Yeah, extremes are a PITA when it comes to the SOB. But that's all it is, a Pain in the Arse and it can't make you do a damn thing. It's nothing but a pathetic, wormy, foul smelling moron.
