Been dating this a girl for about 4.5 months now. Things were going okay but lately she has been depress because she has been without a job for sometime now and she will not be open with me with anything until I try to force it on it.

At time she is happy to see me and other time she is not. She tells me that she need to be use to being with someone. Personal, I really don't want to deal with with it anymore. I want to be in a relationship but I feel like I really don't want to be with a depress girl when times get tough and they close off to me. I'm just getting my life back on track and feel like I can do better.

Also feel like she does not want to be in a relationship but does not want to be alone. She does go to AA but met her on POF.

Unrelated from alcohol.

Is she an alcoholic too? How long have you both been sober?

This may be related to alcohol even if it doesn't seem like it.

I think it's hard to give advice about other people's relationships because we don't know you or what the circumstances are. You need to put your sobriety first though. Stay strong xxx
