Today is day 1. I read on another site I shld post to a forum to help me get sober. I'm going to try to do anything possible to get sober. Anyone else w this date as their sober date?

After over 30 years as an active alcoholic, my dad picked April 1st as his sober date...April 1, 1983! He's been sober since that day and he's still around at the age of 80. Miracles do happen, even on April Fool's Day
