Just wanted to check in with everyone. Things here are going well, I have been busy enjoying Spring Break with my kids and hubby. We spent two days at Knotts Berry Farm last week and I went on all of the roller coasters with them, I can't remember the last time I screamed that loud.

We came back from two nights at the beach yesterday, I opted not to swim in the freezing cold Pacific, the kids boogie boarded and body surfed, my hubby went out on his board, and I enjoyed watching from my chair in the sand.

For all of you just starting out on this journey, know that it can be done and if you slip up after day one or 101 you can start again the next day.

Sounds like you are doing very well. So glad to hear it. There still may be tough days ahead but now you have a foundation to work from and it sounds like a pretty solid foundation. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Familyman! I know how easily I can slip back to past habits, I am trying to focus on staying involved with my kids. Hope you are doing well!

You are doing well. Tomorrow I will be spending the day with my kids after working this week. Focusing on them will help me stick to my resolve to not pick up a bottle of wine when thing with my partner are difficult.
