I know sometimes when people are deprived of sunshine they may fall into depression. I lived in Chgo for 37 years and winters were very depressing and I drowned my depression in alcohol. I live in Florida and it's a lot different now. But I thought you all in the cold climates might enjoy this virtual vacation in Hawaaii. I turn off all the lights and maximize the screen and just watch and listen with no other distractions. So kick everyone out of the room. Kick back and relax. Don't forget your suncreen.

In the iTunes store you can get some good nature sounds.

I have one that I play all night when I'm sleeping.

It's only 99¢. I put it on the iPod, set it to repeat, and let it go all night. On nights when it's tough to sleep this helps a lot. This series has ocean waves and a forest ambiance as well as others.
