Hey all.
Day 10. Feeling good, calm, not so much anxiety & irritability. Been keeping busy, reading recovery books and visiting the boards. Haven't been obsessing about not drinking and using though, unlike all the other times I've tried to quit. I feel like this is a good thing, I'm just focusing on keeping busy and enjoying sobriety rather than constantly thinking about quitting.
I have had a lot of Day 10's though so I guess I'm being cautious with my feelings. The tough part for me is getting past the 2.5 week mark.
Grateful for family, my job, this website & sobriety.

Great job so far. You've done 10 successfully, you can do another 10, and then another...and so on. Try to anticipate success instead of worrying about failure

You sound like you have learned to be careful with your sobriety; keep up the great work! I've been diving in to the recovery books as well and I'm appreciating the learning process.
