interesting. i'm glad you are excited about it. you seem to have a good energy and the will & determination to do it. i'll give it a try soon. i'm interested exploring different kinds of meetings all over, as soon as i can start going out again. definitely keep going, we wanna hear how it goes.

@katieemma - the idea of AA is that you are powerless over your weakness/addiction to alcohol. When I was honest with myself, I realized that my willpower was never enough to keep me from my addictive behaviors. AVRT requires immense physical and emotional strength that not all people have (myself included).

That being said I think both AVRT and AA are great and I incorporate aspects of both into my recovery.
