Seriously, though, there's a hidden issue, namely the possibility that you might be using your boyfriend as a control. It's best to be doing it for yourself and not play cat and mouse with anyone else. Indeed, you can tell him just that and say that you don't care what he thinks. You're going to keep on the sobriety track regardless of what anyone, him included, may think. You're going to do it for yourself. Go for it!
