think of how good you will feel tomorrow morning. not hungover.
break it down into hours if you have to...and don't be afraid to be nice to yourself. I nice hot bath in the evening is a good way to use some time and relax too.

I'm on Day 5 and like you the cravings come in the afternoon around 5 pm. I read somewhere on this forum that the cravings only last for 7 minutes and I keep telling myself this. I drink lots of water at that time and eat early, I find that after dinner with a couple of cups of herbal tea the cravings have gone - then i feel so good with myself for not giving in.
It's not easy, but if we've made it this far we can make it further. Well done.

Hi nostalgia. Glad you posted. I don't know why this happens when we're feeling good and hopeful. It happened to me in the beginning, but the anxiety finally left. It does get better as we go along. You're doing great.

Thank you. I had no idea the cravings would be so overwhelming. This is my second week of trying to moderate. Last week I went 3 days sober before going to a resort and drinking wine twice. Those 3 days I felt fine, I exercised and everything. I don't know why this week feels so hard. I wonder if my body thought last week was a freak accident and now is wondering what the hell is going on and why aren't we drinking? lol
I haven't worked out, and I was thinking about going to spin class or something but I don't feel like being around that energy - afterwork cranky people sweating in a cramped room.
I have a gym in my house. I might just even walk on the treadmill a bit later... something is better than nothing I guess.

The first days are rough, Nostalgia - but it gets easier
