Been so sick, today was bad. This PM I went to the store to try to find something I could keep down. Ran into my group leader who is a good guy and pretty sure a wounded vet but its like when anyone reads from the book he mouths it so we know he knows it word for word and when people speak he nods or frowns. Not been there for a few weeks. He asked if I was OK but it felt a lttle more condeming than concerned. I think we can get a little too into ourselves. I saw him checking my cart, lucky the worste I had was health fruit juice. I think there is a difference between care and control.

One time a lady at a meeting I hadn't been to in awhile offered to sign my court slip. It was a picnic flyer that I was holding. I guess since she hadn't seen me she assumed it was a court slip.

I love how you put that. If you get to. Reminds me that I "get" to do things in sobriety. I get to go to meetings. I get to have a sponsor. I GET to work the steps. I GET to be sober today.

It is a privilege and a gift. Sometimes I need that reminder.

It can be a pain but kind of a family. This guy always has a big thing of red licorace and the treatment center supplies real coffee for the meetings. Lots of my treatment family went there for real coffee. It would get funny because last time I was in people would ask are you going and if I said yes some would say OK and huddle up around me. I had to say I am not in charge of your recovery. Every day for 20 some days newbies were asked to introduce themselves. Everyday day I did.

I just have a health issue beyound tummy flu I try every day. To get up and get out and get on line and stay sober was all I had. Mostly now I want to give what I have while I have to give it. And always have love and humor in my heart.

Thinks Bud things are more than issues about Black Friday etc. Though if that is important who am I to complain? I wish I could eat and sleep but I can't have everything. The best thing about my life is I can apreciate the moment. That is enough

Don't worry about it (((((Fitz))))). Just get yourself well!!! I hope you have some generic pedalyte in the house that you can mix some with your water or light juice, so that you are getting all the electrolytes you need and do not become dehydrated!!!!
