Don't give up
I just want to give all of you newcomers to sobriety hope and something to look forward to. *I have been an alcoholic for twenty years. *I have tried to get sober a few times but it never worked. *I wasn't getting sober for the right reasons and that is why I think it didn't work for me. * I have been sober for 108 days. *This time I am doing it for me and working hard at it everyday. *I know this is just the beginning and there is a lot more work to be done. My thoughts are clear, I remember everything, my emotions are under control and I find my relationship with the people around me improving. * When you are having moments of weakness or feelings like giving up don't - it is worth it and don't give up. *I couldn't have do it without all the posts I read and the support I received from SR. *just know there is hope for a better future.
