I can't really stay home because I haven't seen them for a while and they are expecting me. Hopefully I'll be ok because the woman doesn't drink very often, will leave the men to it.

well I've been out, I was asked if I wanted wine and I said no thank you I'll have tea. It was sooo hard to resist but I did it. That's day 3 over with.

Way to go Poppy . I was once told on SR that every I said no to alcohol ineaarly recovery I was growing my sobriety muscles.

I faultered last night, it was our wedding anniversary, we had been for a meal then when we got home I drank, 2 bottles of red wine. Felt ill when I woke up this morning, wishing I hadn't drank, but I can't turn back the clock so I have to move on, today is a fresh day.
