Well, my advice to you,
Go to a meeting every day.
Don't drink.
Listen.
Forget chips, talking, numbers etc.
Keep going to meetings.
Arrive early and help set up the room.
Leave late and help clean up.
Don't preach. Welcome the newcomer.
Someone is coming in the door 12 hours less sober than you.
Be kind to them.
Slow down.
Everything will begin to fall into place.
You will want to phone people, you will want to do all the things you don't want to do.
Keep it simple.
