No they know. And I told them I don't want to drink. They keep saying you can come out and just not drink.
Think about just not drink and I laugh.
I won't be going anywhere.
I prefer to relax and watch tv. That's what I am doing.

Ken, it sounds like they can't have as much fun without you, so take it as a compliment and keep saying no. I'm going out to look at waves, but I like the indulge in junk food idea for later. Our local bar is having a hurricane party too.
One of the days I miss drinking but I'm not going to cave. I'd miss the sobriety more at this point. Oh to be 19 and carefree again!!

Ken, I am wishing you and all those in the path of Frankenhurricane Sandy a lot of luck and little damage. As a Florida person, please get prepared. Have a weeks worth of drinking water and canned food. Fill your tubs with water for the toilets and bathing. Get batteries. Maybe a kerosene heater? I think it's really cold up there too right? Take care friend!

Hey HRB.... Thanks. I have a bunch of food and water. Maybe not as much as I should have. Tub is full. Was just out and it's picking up. Tonight is really the time. Keeping my iPad charged while I can.

Hurricane party indeed! They are scared just like everybody in this storm, and the sober ones get to experience some adrenaline and dopamine that they earned and did not get from a bottle! And then remember it. Stay safe. I am way out of danger in fact it is gorgeous today.

Kewl I got the beer and ales and chips and dips. I haven't had birch beer since I left CT! Someone bring some. I got the Root beer, sparkling water, flavored water, Crystal Light, and the Ginger ale.
Do not bring CelRay soda unless you hide it in a coozy. I hate that stuff, the only stuff I don't rtemember fondly from my youth in CT!

I am a big Stewart's root beer fan!
I eat half a bag of crunchy cheese doodles.... I lost 18 pounds with nt drinking.... One little storm and bam! Right back on.
P.s. I had sushi, chips and dip, carrot and celery, and.... Huh... Hate to say. Beefaroni.

Wow there are people wandering round time square .. i was watching it on the webcam there . They were waving ..
I think it's pritty irresponcible of people to be organizing and having a "party" / drinking binge in the middle of a hurricane. Stay safe at home looking after your tub full of drinking water and food stash .

Reporting in from coastal MA. Wind is picking up big time, scattered rain. It was amazing on the beach earlier this afternoon. Pictures don't do it justice. Waves were huge!! Home with mom and the cats now doing a whole lot of nothing and watching the news. New York and New Jersey are looking scary along about now.
