Just heard on intervention this phrase:

you don't get to reward yourself for being a mother with alcohol.

Wow, that hits home.

Today, I understand that statement. In the vicious cycle of drinking, I wouldn't have.

Today, I am even more grateful to be sober

It was an episode that previously aired. The red headed intervention specialist is a firecracker and had some awesome one liners. Like I said it hit home to me.

I've never seen that program, I'll have to look it up. It's amazing how differently we view things sober to when we were drinking! x

I haven't watched that show either, but one of the best parts of not drinking is being present for my children.
