I am on day 13 also. I felt the urge to drink earlier. I called two women from AA. I remembered to be responsible somehow. I had an AA speaker cd in my cd player in the car. The speaker, Chris R. spoke a term of endearment about someone that I happen to call my child. It was comforting. I thought of my child instead of myself.

He was describing his AA friend and he said he could see his little face, and I thought of my child. I always say he has a sweet little face. It changed the direction of my thoughts to my child. I am glad I had the talk in my car. I always have a speaker cd in my car.

I came home and made a pot of coffee, and came and posted what I was experiencing on the 12 step aa forum. I know they will understand and help me there...here...

I know you all know what I am going through so I come here to be with you.

I prayed.

I don't feel like drinking anymore.
