11 Days today
Hey Guys,
Its day 11 for me today and I'm doing ok. I'm not interested in drink at all. Its weird I almost despise it at the moment. I'm still having difficulties accepting that I'm an alcoholic but I'm sticking with the plan and just going with it.
I went to my GP's today regarding my depression and he has referred me for some cbt. My moods are still low but I'm hoping that my new sober lifestyle, regular gym sessions and therapy will start to make a positive impact on my life.

Hey Sneeker,
My experience was that after 3 to 6 months a whole lot of depression got lifted from me .. if you stick with it maybe that might be true for you ?
