Maybe some newcomers can figure it out. Baffles me.

Early 1980s, Akron Rubber Bowl, Dylan opened for the Dead (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers backed Dylan for two sets), then for the Dead's second set, Dylan joined for the whole gig. Great stuff. The Dead covered several Dylan tunes for years after that.

Great dude tripped into my home group in Manila. Celebrated his 10th year, had over 500 shows under his belt, more than 300 sboer. Great Wharf Rat.
