I would cut back while enjoying a dinner with her, then secretly pretend to take recycling out and chug wine/beer in the garage....
I am confused are you saying I should keep drinking just less?

Congrats on making it through the game! I live in New England, but am an avid Steelers fan...so you are essentially my archenemy. LOL.

Hi WWG,as far as what your wife said about being excited about being sober two days, i think sometimes people just don't know what to say, or how to react, so they just say SOMETHING, it doesn't have to make sense, it's all new for you guys. have a great sober weekend! Hey, a little on that same note kind of, i havent had refined sugar for four days and i feel like i just got nominated for a nobel peace prize....

I even told my friend about my issues and he was shocked about how I drank 8-10 beers a night, and had no clue. Nice job! I am headed to a baseball game next week and I'm already nervous about it.

And go Patriots!!!

I'm quite sure TorontoGuy was referring to how he used to interact with his spouse and NOT saying you should go guzzle in the garage while pretending to be engrossed in the recycling pile - just sayin

Congrats on your outstanding sober outing. Just wait until you hit 36 days - it will make you and your wife equally proud. Walk on and keep up the great work!

You are right about TorontoGuy's quotes. My seems to no care if I drink or not just in moderation.
