6 months sobreity! And a tune from bon jovi!
So I went to a meeting last night and accepted my 6 month coin, and then I get in the car and this song is playing on my radio. Not only is it irony but it makes me laugh to think about. 6 months ago I made a comment to my friend that "ill be lucky to get to a year"

and I get in the car and Livin on a Prayer is playing and I just laughed so hard. "whooooooooooa you're HALFWAY THERE!!!!!"

Just thought I'd share. Thank you all for your support and love.

Congrats on 6 months sober!!! What a huge milestone to cross.

:day1 - God give us what we need when we need it - I don't know how many times similar incidents have happened to me. I do remember one AA BD I had that I was particularly joyful and started my car leaving the meeting and had Rare Earth's "I Just Want To Celebrate" play

Congrats on 6 months.
The first three months seemed to drag on, felt like a year for me, but thankfully time got back to normal speed after that.
