Both of the issues you are wrestling with will result in a lifestyle change regardless of what you decide. so change is inevitable. Personally I'd move forward with what best suits your future, keeping in mind that sobriety is a primary goal.

Hey just came across this in the big book page 99 2nd to last paragraph. It says there is no rule for these kinds of things and when the time for living together has come it will be apparent to both parties (You and girlfriend).
