30 Days!
30 Days!
I arrived here 30 days ago just wondering what the heck I was doing. 30 days without booze later, and I feel really good. I can't believe I made it 30 days without alcohol. There have been some rough emotional moments - but my depression has been lifting, I don't have any cringe-worthy regrets or embarrassment, I feel physically and mentally good, my relationships are better, I don't feel so confused and underwater. This was a good decision.
Just wanted to say thank you to the SR community. I would never have made it 30 days without alcohol without the people here. I haven't made it 30 days in 15+ years, minus my pregnancy and my daughter's infancy.
Wanted to say thank you especially to Sapling, Dee, & my May class. Thanks for the challenges and kindness.
Hoping and planning on another 30....

Congratulations, Payton! You are one of the most insightful, most supportive, and most prolific contributors to our class. Thank you for all of your hard work on staying sober and for cheering us on to stay sober, too. Way to go! Another proud member of our Class of May 2012.
