hi, id like to introduce myself. im a 31 yr old male and i accepted the fact today that im addicted to speed and am going to do something about it. i guess im what you would call a functioning addict, i still work, most people dont know about my problem, i dont use every day, but it is still interfering in my life. i dont go looking for it, but if it is offerred to me i will do it. i know the road wont be easy but im hoping that if i need any support i can come on here and find people who are going through the same things with similar experiences.

my own experience with speed was minimal - I hated it - but you'll find lots of shared experience, support and advice here I'm sure

Welcome aboard! This place is a great support. I was once like you with other drugs and alcohol. I always thought I had a long way to go before I was "bad". Well, I got there and beyond... and there were still worse people. That's the sick thought pattern of an addict. If you think you MIGHT be an addict you are in the right place.
