It makes me smile, when I see brand new newbies encouraging others. Congratulating them, sharing.
It is so beneficial to ones own recovery to help, aide, steer, encourage others.
It reinforces what you know, what you want to accomplish.
And it just feels good to reach out to other people in need.
Keep up the good work.

This is such a nice thread. I have found everyone on this site so encouraging and feel that because of SR I have been able to maintain my sobriety for the first time in my life.

Agree 100% PCL. I get so much out of everyone's posts, even ones I don't agree with. I love seeing the newbies stick around, give support to others. What is done at SR is what it's all about. One alcoholic or addict give strength and hope to another.
