One Year Today :)
One Year Today :)
One year ago this was my Day 1.
Thank you to all the people who make SR possible (whoever funds it, the tech people, the Mods, the caretakers, the long-timers, the NEWCOMERS)
Thank you to my wonderful Marcher monthly thread. I hope everyone has a warm a home as I do.
Thank you to the Wisdom Carriers in the Codie & ACOA threads. The hurts we share can be healed. We didn't cause it, we can't control it, we can't change it. But we can be safe and happy.
My life has changed in so many ways, all for the better. One day at a time. Baby steps. Leaps of faith. Stumbling. Getting up. Trying again. Trying something different. Learning. Living.

I remember the THREE times I got my first year coin.....ALL in Different years, LOL.
I needed to write that only for me, because three separate times over the past fourteen years I had a year or more, and threw it away.
365 days (or as the case with this year, 366), days sober, is a very satisfying, magnificent achievement.
Thank you for sharing it, to remind a guy like me, yes, I can do it too, and for the true newcomer, that yes, it really is possible.

That's AWESOME Frances! I'm very proud of your accomplishment. As much help as this site has been to you, I'm sure you've been a great source of hope and support for others. Your story is a great testimony. It shows that WE CAN DO IT! I hope you have a fantastic day today.
I feel like a proud father today frances! You are a strong beautiful person and it is an honor to be your friend. Thank you for all of your love and support over the last year. I look forward to tomorrow and the next....You are a breath of fresh air.
