Thank-you
Thank-you
One year ago today I poured what was left of my last bottle of booze down the drain. I needed help and support to quit and did not know where to go or what to do, so I turned on my computer and started searching for help. One of the sites I found was Sober Recovery. I now credit Sober Recovery and the community of members who reside here with saving my life. So on my one year anniversary I want to say THANK YOU to the moderators and members of this site. The work being done here is truly a great thing. Thanks again!

My one-year anniversary came and went and I didn't think it was that big of a deal. And then I remembered that for this alcoholic drug addict it was simply a miracle.
You are now an official member of the SR Special Forces of Sobriety. I do AA, others don't, but still, the percentage of those who actually abstain from all mind altering substances for 365 days is probably in the single digits.
So shine your boots, **** your helmet, pick up your medal and stand tall.
You rock.
