Today is day 77
This is now officially the longest I've ever been sober (I made it to 76 days previously but slipped up on Nov 1st) and I'm very happy to not be drinking
People are beginning to accept me as a non-drinker now rather than constantly trying to get me to have a drink which helps although I do still miss it, especially the social aspect. I don't miss the hangovers or the embarrassment though!
I still can't think in terms of forever but one day at a time is working for now. I'm hoping now to make it to 90 days then begin the real work on myself, my issues and my character because I know for a fact that simply not drinking isn't going to be enough in the long run

Well done purplepixie, 77 days is a great accomplishment. I'm 1 year 6 month sober, and 4 months off crack and I still miss it too, but not as much. I too worried about the social aspects of being sober but my old using buddies have just moved on, and the social aspects of it all have turned out to be a minor issue with me. I'm looking forward to your 90 days, you'll make.
