Alcohol Withdrawal by Weaning
My advice is to see a doctor.
Do you have any idea what your blood pressure is right now? Or what your blood pressure has been hourly over the past several days?
You are too broke to pay for your blood pressure medication, yet you have $ for alcohol, xanax, and pot?
I don't see how you can continue this, get some help besides yourself.

Doing Better
After meditation meeting today, I went to the Dr. My blood pressure is very high, and will go back on medication. Dr. said to hold off on exercise. Thanks for all the help. I feel pretty good.
I know my methods are whack, but the last time I went to the ER in full detox (0.5 bac), I wound up committed, and was sent to a State hospital in prison clothes and hand-cuffs in the back of a sheriff's van on a 100 degree day. I can't do that again. Unfortunately, that is the way it works here if you can't afford treatment.
Btw, the beer and groceries were purchased with a gift card I received for Christmas. The weed and xanax are free.

I am doing ok....I can't seem to get past having 4 or 5 beers a day, but no weed and no xanax. I will probably get drug tested pretty soon. I'm still going to 1 or 2 meetings a day, and yes Sapling, I usually give a $, and help set up and clean up. I'm really trying. Weaning down is not advisable, but it is what I fealt like I had to do. I was able to spend some quality time with my children over the holiday weekend, I have my blood pressure under control, I am working, so I feel comfortable picking up that white chip and making today my new sobriety date. I pray for all of you in recovery, and I'll post progress.
