try again!
Hi evryone, new to the site. I am an alcoholic and drug addict all mixed together!! try one thing after another to make me feel better - in fact I dont know why I use. Started with amphetamine then alcohol. Then codeine now on mod alert and zopiclone. In a haze brain so frazzeled. I want to be a good person I am a Christian but on drugs I get this urge to do adventurous stuff that ends in disaster!! I think I am desperate for approval as I mess men about when not really interestesd thats horrible.
I have taken all sorts pills hoping for a high!! think I think too much. Im looking for the peace and joy of life found inside myself want the part of me obsessed with using to go away!!
Anyway cant go on taking so much i will have an accident or organ failure soon if i dont stop. I am wasting my life!!!
Any advice and support (I was in AA 5 yrs find Church my sanctuary)

Glad you've decided to reach out today..... Coming here helped me turn my life around. We all need support to do this.
It takes time to get rid of the obsession, but take it from someone who thought about drinking constantly: you can get there, too!

11 months ago I was exactly where you are. On Dec. 28th I found a website called Settingcaptivesfree dot org and I went through an online class that helped me get free from the drugs and alcohol. I also came here for support! I only mention SFC because you say you are a Christian. It changed my way of thinking.
