No more booze here

I finally got all the bottles out of the house and a lady was nice enough to get rid of it for me. I had not been to tempted to drink it yet, glad its gone.

Good job!

I remember it took me three weeks to throw out the mostly full bottle of wine in one of my cabinets. i was scared it would tempt me if i even opened it. Before I threw it out I remember smelling it and it smelled to me like the way alcohol did to me when I was a little kid and my grandparents were drinking. Like oddly familiar, but not something I would think about drinking.

Monumental advance towards long term sobriety!!!! Give your horses a big kiss (or do they kiss you?) They can't say it, but I bet they are happier than ever!

Thanks, it was hard and strange. It is time to completely commit and get rid of it. It's been almost three weeks since my last drink. But was also like giving away an old friend. I could not open and pour it out and there were several bottles. So an addict from today meeting offered to get rid of it for me. She said booze didn't bother her so she took it to a dumpster for me, I am grateful to her.
