How to say no thanks?

I think its more of an issue if you're known as a drinker and don't want to share the gory details for quitting. My brother has never drank and nobody questions that. There are a lot of good responses here already. Some I like are:
- It doesn't agree with me anymore.
- I'm on a restricted diet.
- It just doesn't sound good to me tonight.
- I need to be clear headed tomorrow
- (& my favorite) It will aggravate my IBS and you don't want to be around that! :rotfxko

Posts like this one show up at SR regularly. It seems like newbies to sobriety are more apt to use excuses. The longer you are sober the less important and the less you worry about what other people will say to you.
