Wink Sleepy Girl!

Hi all, I can't seem to get enough. I slept 8hrs last night and then all day today I have wanted more. Basically since about two weeks out of my drinking I've been like this.

I am on BP meds and I'm wondering if now that I've stoped drinking (day 45) I should be on a lower dose. I've taken my BP at home a couple times. Top number normal, bottom in the 60s. I guess I'll leave that up to the professionals. All I know is I don't want to snooze at my desk! LOL

I'm also still sweating like crazy at night. Not to be gross but it's kinda bugging me. I thought this would be over by now.

I'm pretty warm at night too--it's hard to take. But I would call about the sleepiness. Who knows what the BP drugs might do?

It happenned the same to me, when I was about 1 month sober. I could sleep 8, 9 or even more hours. I guess i was recovering sleep. Anyway, that does not hurt. Congratulations on day 45.

Hi 1Undone!

I am day 42 today and my sleep patterns have been odd since I stopped drinking something like this:

1st week - shocking, no sleep
2nd week - dead to the world, 12 hour sleeps on weekends
3rd week - good 8 hours a night
4th week - good 8 hours a night
5th week - really bad sleep patterns, only getting 4-5 hours yet absolutely dead!
6th week - similar to 5th but easing off.

I think it's just a byproduct of adjustment, or maybe its just a normal sleep pattern - it's been so long since I didn't have alcohol induced sleep I can't remember what that is!

Congrats on staying sober though

Well, tiredness and night sweats are pretty common 1undone but not usually into the second month by my experience...maybe it's time to see your Dr?
