Greetings from the newbie Hello I'm Ravensong . I'm the mom of a grown daughter who is addicted to narcotic pain pills . I've gone to other online support groups , mobody ever seems to post on most of the sites I've been to . I'm in need of advice and support . I'm also a good listener .
I'm past the point of being angry at her all the time . Now I'm just plain worn out . I love her and I want to help but I just can't get through to her . She is trying to recover and she's been going to local NA and AA meetings everyday . She seems intent on pushing her sister , her husband and myself . I need suggestions and a shoulder or two to cry on from time to time.

Welcome, ravensong - glad you're here (though I'm sorry for the circumstances). It's so hard when our children suffer and we feel like we can't make it all better. I know you'll get lots of support and feedback in the Family/Friends section.

Welcome Ravensong...Glad you're here but I'm sorry about your troubles with your daughter. Hopefully, the time will come for her to realize the hurt and pain she's burdened others with.
